Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Content Writer to join our team and contribute to the creation of engaging and informative content for our education and jobs website. The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing a strong understanding of SEO principles and a keen interest in the education and employment sectors.
Responsibilities:
1. Research and generate ideas for highquality content relevant to our target audience including articles blog posts guides and other written materials.
2. Write clear compelling and wellstructured content that aligns with our brand voice and style guidelines.
3. Conduct thorough keyword research and optimize content for search engines to improve organic visibility and drive traffic to the website.
4. Collaborate with the editorial team to brainstorm content topics plan editorial calendars and ensure timely delivery of content.
5. Stay updated on industry trends developments and best practices in education and employment to inform content creation.
6. Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy consistency and adherence to editorial standards.
7. Monitor the performance of published content using analytics tools and make datadriven decisions to improve content strategy and engagement metrics.
8. Assist with content promotion and distribution across various channels including social media email newsletters and partnerships.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in English Journalism Communications or related field (preferred).
2. Proven experience as a content writer copywriter or similar role with a strong portfolio of published work.
3. Excellent writing editing and proofreading skills with impeccable grammar and attention to detail.
4. Familiarity with SEO best practices and experience optimizing content for search engines.
5. Ability to conduct thorough research and distill complex information into clear and engaging content.
6. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
7. A passion for education career development and helping others achieve their goals.
8. Proficiency in content management systems (e.g. WordPress) and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS (preferred).
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
