Role Overview: As a Consultant Project Manager at bdg you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing projects from inception to completion. Youll collaborate closely with clients internal teams and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met within scope schedule and budget. Your expertise in project management methodologies coupled with your industry knowledge will be instrumental in delivering exceptional consultancy services.

Tasks

  • Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning initiation and execution of projects defining project scope goals and deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively manage project timelines and ensure efficient utilisation of resources while maintaining project quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients providing regular updates addressing concerns and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes to guarantee deliverables meet the predefined standards and client requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams providing guidance support and mentorship to ensure optimal performance and collaboration.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor project budgets track expenses and ensure adherence to financial guidelines to achieve profitability and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (5 years) in project management within a relevant industry
  • Previous experience with planning software beneficial
  • Exceptional communication management and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Good Knowledge of business/Economics
  • Leadership qualities with a focus on team collaboration and client satisfaction.
  • Able to work against tight target dates in a dynamic environment
  • Critical thinking self management decision making problem solving and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in using Microsoft Excel
