The Role:
We are seeking Consultant Anaesthetists who are committed and looking for a change of scene ..

In this role, you will be responsible for the provision of quality cost efficient anaesthesia, preadmission review and acute pain services care and clinical consultative services within the Hospital.

You will provide high quality care to patients and their families and ensure their needs are at the centre of all your decisions. A demonstrated history of clinical excellence, improvement, patient safety and clinical governance is essential, as is an empathetic, kind and supportive approach to care.

There are eight operating theatres, 2000 deliveries per annum, high dependency, and intensive care. A day surgery unit is also to be functional in 2024.

Location:
Just 90 minutes from Brisbane, this is a modern city with access to all major services and facilities. There is plenty to see and do - take advantage of the many galleries, heritage exhibitions, museums, restaurants, and a great range of shopping centres around the city.

It has a temperate climate and is one of the few regions in Queensland with four distinct seasons. The education, training and tertiary sectors are well catered for, with both private and public schools, vocational training providers and 2 universities in the region

• FANZCA
• AHPRA specialist registration
