Construction Manager

Our client an innovative growing and trusted engineering and architectural consulting firm is seeking a Construction Manager with a minimum of five years experience to join their team. This is a hybrid/remote full time position located in Wheeling West Virginia.

The Construction Manager should possess experience in construction management construction engineering and have experience working on sanitary and storm sewer projects. In addition you must be able to read and understand blueprints.

What you will be doing

• You will be working onsite at various projects and monitoring labor materials equipment and construction operations
• Written reporting of operations measurements and calculations quantity collations and appurtenant efforts
• Monitoring and reporting on extra work activities
• Liaison with clients residents and businesses affected by the work.

What qualifications do you need

• Bachelors or associate degree in civil engineering Civil Engineering Technology Construction Engineering or Construction
• Prior experience monitoring municipal infrastructure construction work on sanitary and storm sewer projects waterlines pump stations roadway improvements and related work for compliance with the contract plans and specifications.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and contract specifications and to interact with clients contractors and management.
• Must have a valid drivers license good driving record and proof of insurance.
