Construction Manager

This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of land development and municipal construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the industry with a proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion. This role requires exceptional leadership skills a keen understanding of construction processes and the ability to navigate the complex landscape of municipal regulations and politics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of construction projects including planning scheduling budgeting and execution.
• Coordinate with architects engineers contractors and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress quality and safety compliance.
• Prepare and review construction documents including reports pay applications and material takeoffs.
• Develop and maintain project schedules ensuring timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
• Oversee procurement of materials and equipment ensuring costeffective solutions without compromising quality.
• Communicate effectively with project stakeholders including clients government officials and community members.
• Lead project meetings providing clear direction and guidance to team members.
• Handle any issues or conflicts that arise during construction implementing effective resolutions to keep projects on track.
• Stay abreast of industry trends regulations and best practices to continuously improve project outcomes

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management or related field (preferred).
• 2030 years of experience in the land development and municipal construction industry.
• 10 years of experience in a construction management role.
• Licensed as Professional Engineer
• Proficiency in MS Office products including Word Excel and Project.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare accurate construction cost estimates and financial reports.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing and motivating teams.
• Familiarity with the political landscape of construction projects with the ability to navigate regulatory requirements and stakeholder interests
