Please Note: Looking for someone that has at least two years of construction estimating experience restoration estimation experience and prior work with TPAs would be a huge plus experience with Xactimate Dash or encircle would be a huge plus as well.
About the Role:
About the Role:
We are currently searching for a Construction Estimator to join our Team.
Our Estimator is responsible for estimating and selling reconstruction services in the fire and water restoration industry.
We strive to acquire talent that is motivated goaloriented organized and customerfocused. Someone who has great communication skills and a passion for delivering at the highest levels of quality.
This is a salarypluscommission position. The salary will be determined based on the amount of previous experience and knowledge of the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect the site to determine the scope of work
- Prepare the estimate in Xactimate
- Build and maintain relationships with clients adjusters and property managers
- Document activities and communication in company software/systems (MS Outlook Xactimate Dash and Encircle)
- Communicate regularly and effectively with clients employees and subcontractors
- Be persuasive in communicating the solution and its value
- Work with other departments to ensure overall success
Requirements
Qualifications:
- A Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to multitask work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Have a working knowledge of applicable building codes
- Strong computer skills are a must
- 2 plus years experience in Construction and/orRestoration estimating
- Excellent communication skills; both oral and written
- Provide superior customerclient experience
- Ability to negotiate subcontractors pricing/cost
- Must be able to be oncall after hours for emergency calls on a rotational basis
- Experience with Xactimate and DASH is preferred
