Configuration Management Specialist

Eligibility: Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder due to clearance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive support for existing IIS/WebSphere applications ensuring seamless operation and performance optimization.
• Utilize Version Control and build tools such as Subversion Github Jenkins and SonarCube to manage code repositories and streamline development processes.
• Leverage development toolset familiarity with Visual Studio Rational Application Developer and/or Eclipse to facilitate efficient application development and maintenance.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Windows environments coordinating deployment of patches across various technologies including Windows SUSE/Linux Oracle database WebSphere Tomcat Java OpenJDK SAP BI 4.
• Coordinate deployment of patches and updates collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Utilize ServiceNow for incident management and service request fulfillment.
• Showcase familiarity with Windows or UNIX scripting with a focus on enhancing automation and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders through strong oral and written communication skills.
• Work independently or collaborate with other software engineers to coordinate development efforts and ensure project success.
• Apply software quality assurance practices to maintain high standards of code quality and reliability.
• Provide support for deployment issues in production environments offering timely resolution and troubleshooting.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field with 5 years of experience.
• Proficiency in supporting IIS/WebSphere applications.
• Experience with Version Control and build tools such as Subversion Github Jenkins and SonarCube.
• Familiarity with development toolset including Visual Studio Rational Application Developer and/or Eclipse.
• Strong Windows experience.
• Familiarity with technologies including Oracle database WebSphere Tomcat Java OpenJDK SAP BI 4.
• Experience with ServiceNow for incident management and service request fulfillment.
• Familiarity with Windows or UNIX scripting is a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a development team.
• Software quality assurance experience.
• Ability to provide support for deployment issues in production environments.
