Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform various conditionbased monitoring techniques such as vibration lubrication thermography ultrasound and stationary asset surveillance for critical rotating and electrical assets
  • Evaluate and report test results and highlight areas of concern
  • Coordinate with identified Coal BU and AP experts for advanced analysis
  • Assist in the preoutage and postoutage testing for the identified critical equipment
  • Respond to oncall conditionbased monitoring requests by internal customers
  • Generate reports for Root Cause Analysis and provide corrective and preventive actions
  • Develop implement and update conditionbased monitoring databases and dashboards
  • Operate and maintain the conditionbased monitoring equipment and instruments
  • Raise Work Request as needed based on the urgency of conditionbased monitoring findings
  • Comply with occupational safety and health as well as environmental rules and regulations
  • Comply with the housekeeping 5S policies within his/her area of responsibility
  • Conform to the company s Quality Environmental Occupational Health and Safety Asset Management Energy Management Business Continuity Management System and other related policies and procedures


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering preferably Mechanical or Electrical
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in power plant operation and maintenance preferably with exposure to conditionbased monitoring techniques
  • Certified or trained in vibration analysis lubrication analysis thermography ultrasound and other conditionbased monitoring techniques
  • Knowledgeable in power plant equipment and systems such as boiler turbine generator balance of plant and related auxiliaries
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office SAP and other conditionbased monitoring software
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Team player and customeroriented
  • Willing to work in Mindanao
