Overview:

The role of a Concurrent Auditor is crucial to the organization as it involves conducting realtime audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. The Auditor plays a key role in safeguarding the financial integrity of the organization and identifying potential risks that could impact the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform concurrent audits of various business processes and transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Identify and assess potential risks and control weaknesses
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and recommendations
  • Conduct regular meetings with management to discuss audit results and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Review and evaluate internal controls and recommend enhancements
  • Stay updated with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to communicate audit findings and ensure corrective actions
  • Participate in the development and implementation of audit procedures and methodologies
  • Conduct special investigations as required
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on audit procedures and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing or internal controls
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis and risk management principles
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Proficient in using audit software and tools
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Uptodate knowledge of auditing standards and regulations
