Job description:

Shift Comments: Candidates should be available for both the shifts: 2nd Shift 2:30PM 11:00PM or 1st 6:30AM 2:30PM dependent on department needs

Description/Comment:

Performs a variety of duties in support of a computer network (LAN/WAN) and/or client server unit.

Reviews input data to verify adequacy and appropriateness of material required for data processing and related operations.

Reviews output data to verify completeness accuracy and conformance to quality standards and specifications.

Maintains internal records and may catalog disperse and return tapes/disks.

May review daily processing logs and may set or revise schedules.

AA or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 1 year of related experience

Associates Degree and 1 year of experience.

2 years of related experience can be substituted for Associates degree.

4 years of nonrelated experience can be substituted for Associates degree.

Equivalency: Associates Degree and 1 year of experience.

2 years of related experience can be substituted for Associates degree.

4 years of nonrelated experience can be substituted for Associates degree.

Special Requirements

*Hybrid 3x week (MF) for shift schedule & have an active secret clearance. First 8 weeks for onsite training.*

Candidates will need to be available for 1st & 2nd Shifts

SIEM and SOAR familiarity (Preferably Splunk or Google platforms)

Escalation and Triage of events and alerts being monitored through various technology platforms

Experience developing detections/alerts (fine tuning and analysis)

SEC certification

Scripting language and experience e.g. Microsoft PowerShell

Creating and maintaining security policy and procedures
