Role: Computer Scientist

Location: Hybrid (23 times a week at office WHJTC Egg Harbor NJ)

Duration: 6 Month C2H

Clearance: Must be eligible for Public Trust

Description of duties:

Provides assessments regarding current stateoftheart and industrial trends in the computer field. Designs and implements computer algorithms and reviews existing legacy code systems considering current best business practices of computer science.

Contributes to a crossdisciplinary team focused on:

o Highfidelity modeling and simulation

o statistical analysis

o engineering

o advanced programming and computing techniques

Develop standalone visualizations of aviation concepts

Provides support for a wide variety of softwarebased aviation analysis and modeling tools

Participates in all aspects of the software lifecycle including but not limited to:

o Planning

o Systemlevel analysis

o Requirements Use Case and/or User Story generation

o Design

o Implementation

o Testing & Validation

o Delivery

o PostRelease Supports

Required skills:

Minimum of 610 years of relevant experience

Objectoriented design/development using Java or similar languages (C# etc.)

Data engineering (JSON Schema XML Schema Definition AVRO etc.)

Software testing (Unit Integration etc.)

UNIX/Linux operating systems

Software Containerization (Docker etc.)

Version control (Git preferred)
