  1. ABOUT ROBINHOOD & PURPOSE OF ROLE:

Robinhood Insurance is a leading Life Insurance Broker which has reputation of doing business with quality which is one of the best in the Industry. Robinhood did a total life insurance premium of Rs.425cr in FY 2223 which includes new premium of Rs.170cr.

No other Broker has been able to evolve and implement systems and processes which are anywhere close to what Robinhood uses in sourcing and issuance of Life Insurance Proposals. These processes include a number of checks and balances process controls & risk control systems.

Robinhood is licensed by the IRDAI Hyderabad to act as direct insurance broker (Life & General Insurance). The company is highly compliant & ensures compliance to all regulatory guidelines.

The person being sought will head the Compliance department of Robinhood which involves handling all compliance matters of the company wrt SS Labour Law ROC IRDA & any other statutory authority.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Handle all Secretarial Standards(SS) ROC IRDAI& any other compliances on a timely & accurate manner.

  • Drafting & vetting of all Vendor Insurance Leave & License and other agreements & ensuring all important terms are stipulated so as to protect our interests & in compliance to law.

  • Registration & monitoring of Trademarks Copyright opposition of Patents etc. under correct clauses in.

  • Maintenance of all inhouse records physical and/ or digital manner such as Statutory Registers compliance documents trackers agreements minutes / notices etc.

  • Regular updation of inhouse compliance software

  • Maintenance of compliance calendar & periodically publishing the status of same.

  • Responsible for all compliance of the company & should stay updated with latest developments Communicate new circulars and interpretation of same to all stakeholders

  • Present monthly detailed review of all aspect of compliance.

Relevant Experience

  • Preferably worked in compliance department of insurance broking or insurance company.

No of years of experience

Minimum 810 years

Technical Competencies

  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint and WebEx
  • Proficiency in excel is an essential requirement.

Compensation

  • Between Rs. 8L to Rs.12L (85% fixed 15% variable)
  • Compensation will be basis experience and background.

Behavioral competencies

  • Eye for detail updated with latest guidelines deadline oriented Methodical Selfdriven Solution Oriented can work Independently good written and verbal English communication skill.
