Company Accounts/Payroll Manager

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch break

About Our Client: Our Client is a well-established and growing company known for its dedication to financial excellence and fostering growth. They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Company Accounts/Payroll Manager to join their team. Our Client values a collaborative work environment and is actively looking for the right candidate to oversee their accounting and payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process the company's accounts and payroll accurately and in compliance with all regulations.
  • Maintain precise financial records, including invoices, expenses, and payroll data.
  • Prepare and submit financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Address and resolve employee payroll-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws, payroll regulations, and accounting standards to ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary financial and payroll data and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in accounting and payroll processing.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Company Accounts/Payroll Manager or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, payroll processing systems, and financial management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations, accounting principles, and financial practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant accounting or payroll certification is a plus.
