Salary: £30,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch break

They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Company Accountant to join their team. Committed to fostering a collaborative work environment, our Client is actively looking for the right candidate to oversee their accounting and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the company's financial accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, expenses, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions.
• Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary financial data and documentation.
• Address and resolve financial inquiries and concerns.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws, accounting regulations, and financial standards to ensure compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Company Accountant or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant accounting certification is a plus.
