Role:: Commissioning Engineer

Location:: Plainville CT .

Type:: Contract

Roles and Responsibilities:

• We strive for work/life balance. Looking for them to work about 200 hours per month could be 1^st 2^nd or 3^rd shift could be some weekend work but striving to not have them work more than 60 hours per week and trying to stay around 200 hours per month with some recovery time after working 23 weeks. Duration of a rotation will be based on how many hours per day and how many days per week. The more consecutive days at higher hours equate to more frequent recovery times.
• Background in software testing with this background in testing software in a material handling or other mechatronics environment.
• They need to have strong technical aptitude and skills.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• The willingness to work as part of a team and support our customer.
• Reside local to the Plainville CT site. Alternate would be Harrisburg PA.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and weekends could be 1st 2nd or 3rd shift.

The Software Commissioning Engineer (SCE) is primarily responsible for leading and executing software test plans in support of Customers software solutions at customer sites. Testing results and progress to be coordinated and communicated with the Dematic project team and our customer. Additionally the SCE must be able to identify operating engineering or software configuration problems and work to implement a solution.

This is What You Will do in This Role:

• • Lead the execution of the site software validation test plan
  • Generate and update test case management repository
  • Capture summarize and communicate testing results and progress with team members and our customer
  • Participate in system acceptance testing with our customer
  • Provide customer startup support
  • Utilize SQL queries to support solution analysis
  • Being able to read and interpret software solution logs identifying system issues
  • Utilize remote desktop connection/virtual machines (VM)
  • Train end users with Dematic application workflows
  • Perform presite software quality assurance testing aligned to software development activities.
