Commercial HVAC Technician

VCS is looking for Commercial HVAC Technician at Raleigh NC . Earn Gift Cards up to $250 every Month.

Pay Rate: up to $40.00/hour
Attendance/Performance Appreciation: Up to $250/Month as Gift Cards (NonTaxable)

Start Date: Upon completion of HR Clearances
Contract: 10 Months with possible extension

Shift : Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM

Weekly Schedule: 40 hours OT

This position is responsible for operating maintaining and performing repairs on assigned HVAC and Refrigeration equipment and controls chilled water systems boilers and various other mechanical electrical and building systems in such manner as to ensure optimal client relations.

Duties:
Install maintain and repair heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
Inspect HVAC systems and their components to ensure they are functioning properly
Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and replacing filters
Repair or replace defective parts in HVAC systems
Test HVAC systems to ensure they are operating efficiently
Follow safety procedures and regulations when working on HVAC systems

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Certification or license in HVAC/R preferred
Must have EPA Universal Certification
Proven experience as an HVAC technician or similar role
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems
Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
Excellent problemsolving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot issues
Ensures compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
Complies with service standards work instructions and customers requirements
Assists with customers queries
Completes other duties as assigned
Good communication skills to interact with customers and explain repairs or maintenance needs
