As a Commercial Construction Superintendent at Jack Laurie Group you will play a vital role in the success of our projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all onsite activities managing subcontractors and ensuring that projects are completed safely on time and within budget. With your leadership and expertise you will ensure that our clients vision becomes a reality and their expectations are exceeded at every turn.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage all aspects of commercial flooring projects from start to finish.
Supervise and schedule subcontractors ensuring they adhere to project timelines and specifications.
Conduct onsite inspections to ensure quality standards are met and address any issues that arise promptly.
Collaborate with project managers architects and clients to ensure project goals are achieved.
Maintain accurate project documentation including daily progress reports change orders and material orders.
Always ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Manage project budgets and expenses identifying costsaving opportunities whenever possible.
Train and mentor junior staff members as needed.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial flooring installation with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of various flooring materials installation methods and industry best practices.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage subcontractors and communicate with clients.
Proficiency in reading blueprints specifications and project plans.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
OSHA certification preferred.
