What awaits you

Ueiya is a young startup and there are exciting challenges ahead of us. Were aiming to build an environmentally driven and impactful solution in the area of Water Footprint.

We received the Berliner Startup Stipendium (BSS) to fully work for 12 months starting February 2024 and we are looking for a fourth team member to join us in April or May and contribute to defining our longterm vision. This year we aim to do business viability testing build and launch an MVP.

Tasks

• Set the foundational tech vision strategy and OKRs
• Code test and write documentation
• Deliver highquality and successful implementation of product requirements and features
• Learn and apply data engineering principles for tasks requiring data loading dataset creation and interfacing data lakes and warehouses
• Codevelop a product roadmap

Requirements

Technical skills:

• Experience in building software products (hardware is a plus)
• You are fluent in writing code and interested in learning about the Python ecosystem (Coding in other programming languages is a plus)
• Experience with database design
• Knowledge of agile software development methodologies
• Familiar with GitHub workflows
• Experience in development and/or contribution to Open Source software and Open Source communities is a plus

Nice to Have:

• Experience with web development product management software infrastructure and architecture computer vision (eg. OCR) AI and machine learning (e.g. toolset workflows practical applications etc) IoT Raspberry Pi hardware and software data engineering (e.g. building data pipelines dataset modeling enabling others to use the data etc) DevOps (e.g. CI systems like GitHub Actions etc)

About you

• Based in Berlin
• 3 years of proven professional experience
• A degree in computer science data science engineering or coding bootcamps
• Curious and solutionoriented
• Leadership great communication skills and a handson mentality
• Environmentally conscious mindset
• Fluent in English. German is a plus
