Bluveyl is an insurtech startup on a mission to democratize weather insurance making financial resilience accessible to all.

Amid disrupted weather patterns and climate events individuals and SMBs face financial vulnerability due to limited adapted insurance options.

Leveraging advancements in precise realtime weather tracking Bluveyl develops digital parametric insurance products at scale to protect against these risks.

Bluveyls first product focuses on the travel and leisure sector by offering weather guarantees to travelers and outdoor enthusiasts. We build partnerships with relevant businesses to embed our offering at point of sale.

As we embark on this journey we are seeking a visionary CoFounder & CTO with a strong entrepreneurial mindset. As a business partner with technical expertise you will lead the development and execution of our technical strategy and contribute to the business development and strategic decisions of Bluveyl.

Tasks

• Make sure our products are scalable secure and usercentric.
• Oversee the tech stack selection architecture design and implementation.
• Implement an efficient cloud architecture to handle huge amounts of data on a daily basis.
• Look after the performance of our risk modelling and pricing algorithms.
• Build seamless integration capabilities with our distribution partners.

Requirements

• Outstanding technical proficiency in API integration and scalable architecture.
• Proven track record of successful product development and implementation
• Handson approach to problem solving.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a startup environment.
• Prior experience in building and scaling tech startups is a big plus.
• Being based in Switzerland is a plus but not mandatory.
