My client has a strong global presence and they dominate their sector as the market leader in the UK. Through continued growth they require a cnc turner to come in and further smooth running of the engineering shop. The engineering shop provides services and support to manufacturing operations so this position is pivotal for uninterrupted operations.

Your Duties:

* Programming setting and operating lathes with fanuc controls

* Programming and reprofiling of tool steel rolls

* Monday to Friday rotating days nights and back shifts

Requirements

* Experienced in setting and operating CNC lathes and milling machines

* CNC programming knowledge including understanding and editing of programs

* Be able to interpret technical drawings and standards

* Be able to complete manual tasks up to 25kg in weight
