Job Description:

The Machinist will conduct machine setups by interpreting blueprints engineering drawings and job orders for precise specifications. Expertly selects cutting tools tool holders and fixtures based on job and material requirements. Write modify and optimize CNC programs using Gcode and CAM software. Operates CNC machines (mills lathes routers) for precision machining operations. Monitors processes adjusts as needed and inspect finished parts to meet specified tolerances and quality standards. Identify and resolve tooling machine malfunctions or specification deviations. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines including cleaning lubricating and replacing worn or damaged parts. Maintains accurate records of machine setups tool changes and production runs. Adheres to safety protocols for a secure working environment.

Requirements:

Should beproficient in reading blueprints technical drawings and GD&T. Must be skilled in writing editing and troubleshooting CNC programs using Gcode and CAM software. Must have handson experience in setting up and operating CNC machines. Understanding of materials properties and machining techniques. Must be knowledgeable in inspection tools and techniques for ensuring part quality. Must have Analytical skills to troubleshoot machining issues for production efficiency. High precision and attention to meet tight tolerances and quality standards. Effectivecommunication skills for team collaboration and interpreting technical instructions.
