CNC Machinist

MasterTech is recruiting a CNC Machinist in Santa Clarita California. A CNC Machinist should be able to operate HAAS Mills & Lathes working from drawings and sketches using manual machine shop equipment. This person must be able to interface well with shop personnel and interact directly with engineering to accomplish the goals of the assigned projects.

Schedule

1st shift 6:30 am 3:00 pm Monday through Friday

2nd shift 2:30 pm 11:00 pm Monday through Friday

Qualifications:

• Experience using HAAS controls (mill and lathe)
  
• Experience with Mastercam & Solid Works
  
• Mechanically inclined individual with good problemsolving ability.
  
• Able to produce accurate work
  
• Mathematical machining skills required.
  
• Familiarization with Aerospace Materials.
  
• Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent.
  
• Ability to create subroutines in MDI.
  
• Must have knowledge in editing programs to meet certain part requirements.
  
• Good understanding of feeds and speeds pertaining to various materials.
  
• Proficient in fixture and part setup.
  
• Skilled using various gaging equipment
