CNC Machinist

Job Title: CNC Machinist
Location: St. Louis MO.
Job Type: Full Time.

Summary: The CNC Machinist is responsible for performing duties required to set up and adjust a variety of machines such as drill press engine lathe turret lathe NC lathe and machining center to perform established and standard machining operations to produce parts such as volutes butterfly valve bodies and disks impellers etc. utilizing brass Lewmet cast iron or stainless steel. Also it must deburr parts.

Responsibilities:

• Focus Area: Operate machine to proveout setup and produce pilot workpiece for inspection.
• Focus Area: Work from complex blueprints part drawings specifications setup instructions etc.
• Focus Area: Work on multitooled arrangements with several operations where very closedimensional relations are important.
• Focus Area: Diagnose machine or tooling malfunction and make the proper and corrective adjustments.

Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates who can perform the objectives above.
• GED or High School Diploma required.
• 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist preferred (set up/operator).
• Experience working with Fanuc controls.
• Knowledge of reading blueprints rulers using calibers and FANUC controls.
