We are a global leader in the design development and distribution of extrusion and converting technology. Our systems encompass product lines to support manufacturing applications and customers in a wide variety of industries including automotive building & construction consumer products medical and packaging. We have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Lathe Operator to join our team. This position will setup and operate manual engine lathes.
Key Responsibilities Include
Key Responsibilities Include
- Perform turning boring threading facing drilling reaming polishing and other lathe operations
- Work from blueprints specifications and general instructions
- Plan and make exacting setups involving the use of 3&4 jaw chucks centers and steady rests to meet requirements for squareness parallelism and interrelated dimensions and finishes
- Devise setups for specialized requirements
- Select speeds feeds tooling and operation sequence
- Check work with precision measuring equipmentmicrometers depth mics inside mics dial indicators
- High School or Technical School Diploma
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating manual engine lathes.
