As part of the 2024 Graduate Programme our client is seeking talented individuals to become integral members of their Cloud Operations DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering teams. They are committed to managing and optimising their online product portfolio ensuring unparalleled reliability performance and security for their valued customers.

As a Graduate Cloud Operations Engineer you will play a vital role in deploying administering monitoring enhancing and automating infrastructure using cuttingedge cloud technologies.

What are we looking for

The following qualifications will help you excel in this role although not all are mandatory. Our client is dedicated to fostering your talents and assisting you in growing within their organisation.

  • A degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field ideally in a STEM subject although any degree discipline will be considered for the right candidate.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills.
  • A knack for contributing new ideas and working effectively within a team environment.
  • A highly motivated selfstarter with the resilience to adapt to changing business demands.
  • Strong interpersonal skills comfortable communicating with individuals at all levels.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows Linux MacOS) and some scripting knowledge (PowerShell Bash Ruby Python) would be beneficial.

These positions are based in our clients Newcastle or Manchester offices requiring at least two days per week onsite. Candidates must be based within a commutable distance or be willing to relocate to be considered for the role.
