Clinical Nurse Specialist Peri Procedure /Peri Operative Care for a private hospital located in Dublin Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- The role of the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in PeriOperative and PeriProcedure care is crucial in overseeing and managing anaesthetic sedation perioperative and periprocedure services within the hospital
- must prioritize patientcentered care ensuring that the patients needs are always at the forefront.
- Approach their duties with flexibility and enthusiasm to deliver the highest level of care to each patient while collaborating effectively with the Nursing Team.
- Take a proactive approach in shaping and advancing the role to meet the evolving healthcare demands of patients. It is essential for the individual to embody the Mission and Values of the Hospital in their actions and decisions.
- Ensuring the wellbeing of patients undergoing procedures and surgeries and their dedication to patient care is paramount in delivering exceptional healthcare services.
Requirements
- Registered General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
- completed formal recognized postregistration education in the area of specialist practice (Anaesthetics) at level 8 (Higher Diploma) according to the Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) National Framework.
- 5 years postregistration experience in the acute hospital setting within the last 7 years.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in the specialist area Theatre
