Job Details
- Shift: Rotating Days 12 hours MondayFriday 36hrs
- Work Location: Onsite; Palo Alto CA
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides agespecific quality patientcentered care to all patients using the nursing process and standards of nursing practice with sensitivity and respect for the diversity of the human experience
- Expedites appropriate care and treatment using critical reasoning and astute clinical judgment especially given the patient may present with complex problems or potentially lifethreatening conditions
- Ideal candidate will have PACU experience with the following types of cases: ENT Plastics General Breast General Surgery Ortho Ophthalmology Urology GYN Pain cases and Interventional Radiology procedures
- Will be expected to rotate to other perianesthesia units
Requirements
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited academic institution. (preferred)
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program. BSN required
Licenses and Certifications
- BLS Basic Life Support
Experience
- Ideal candidate will have PACU experience with the following types of cases: ENT Plastics General Breast General Surgery Ortho Ophthalmology Urology GYN Pain cases and Interventional Radiology procedures
