Job Description

Duration: 13 weeks
Working Hours 40 hrs/week
Shift: 1pm 9:30 pm Monday Friday and every other weekend
JOB SUMMARY:
- Obtains and processes venous and capillary blood samples required for laboratory analysis from patients
of all ages upon request.
- Processes clinical specimens for delivery to laboratory departments and for pickup by reference
laboratories.
- Performs all duties within assigned work blocks.
- Demonstrates compliance with corporate departmental and jobspecific requirements.
- Assists in the preventative maintenance and disinfection within the Specimen Processing area.
- Travels to offsite locations for the purpose of phlebotomy collections.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
