Relocation assistance for Clinical Dietitian!

Small hospital and clinics located on the NW Oregon Coast a few hours northwest of Portland is seeking a fulltime Clinical Dietitian to join their exceptional team. This picturesque location is known for its stunning natural beauty offering residents breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean river and nearby forests.

Clinical Dietitian:

• Assess patients nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history current health status and specific needs in the inpatient and outpatient setting.
  
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes.
  
• Monitor patients progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed.
  
• Calculate and provide guidance on enteral and parenteral nutrition therapy.
  
• Ensure proper administration and monitoring screening system for cancer patients.
  
• Stay up to date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition.
  
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
  
• Ability to effectively communicate medical information test results diagnoses and/or proposed treatment in a manner easily understood by the client.
  
• Knowledge of clinical nutrition theory and practice.
  
• Knowledge of sponsored nutritional programs and patient certification requirements.
  

Qualifications of Clinical Dietitian

License/Certification:

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  
• Licensed Dietitian with the State of Oregon (or eligible)
  

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor s Degree from an accredited college plus an approved internship with The American Dietetic Association
  
• Master s degree preferred
  
• Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist Credential (CDCES) through the CBDCE preferred
