Overview:

The Clerical Administrative role is a crucial position within the organization responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role plays a key part in facilitating effective communication and coordination between various departments and stakeholders contributing to the overall productivity and success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain office filing systems and databases.
  • Answer and direct phone calls and take accurate messages when necessary.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments meetings and events for executives and staff.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports and documents.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence including mail and emails.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of various office activities.
  • Assist in managing office supplies and equipment inventory.
  • Provide general administrative support such as photocopying faxing and maintaining office tidiness.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining office common areas.
  • Support the organizations team with various administrative projects and tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an administrative or clerical assistant.
  • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary is a plus.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
