Custodian

 Company Summary: The custodian/handyman performs a variety of semi-skilled. This position provides quality custodial services to the school, research, laboratories, and administrative units on the school campus. 

Position Summary: The successful candidate shall be a hard-working individual working as a Janitor. Will ensure the busses and classrooms are clean and well-maintained following a specific checklist of duties. And will sweep and mop the classrooms floors windows. In addition to that, he/she will also clean bathrooms and cafeterias.

To ensure success you need to prioritize tasks and take pride in your work. Top candidates will be energetic, upstanding, and dexterous.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining the property through janitorial duties i.e., cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of facilities.
  
• Assist with set up/tear down of tables and chairs for group meetings.
  
• Assists in checking facilities for safety hazards and report.
  
• Responsible for ensuring all windows and entrances/exits are secured at end of work shift.
  
• Responsible for moving chairs and Tables
  
• Responsible for maintenance and cleaning the school and its surroundings.
  
• Maintaining cleaning equipment.
  
• Maintaining inventory of cleaning agents and equipment.
  

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and agents.
  
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
  
• Physically agile and dexterous.
  
• Resilient to cleaning agents and chemicals.
