Class A Dedicated Truck Driver Night Shift Local

Position Overview: In Vance Alabama we are looking for a committed CDLA truck driver to join our team for a daily night shift that will be worked locally. You will be tasked with securely moving freight and trailers between our customers location and nearby suppliers as a valued team member. This is a fulltime position that requires 5560 hours a week on average.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Average weekly pay of $1500 / Annual salary of $78000
• Starting pay rate of $25 per hour
• Top pay rate of $26 per hour achievable after 1 year
• Home daily with shifts running Sunday night to Saturday morning (5 p.m. to 5 a.m.)

Responsibilities:

• Transporting freight and trailers between local suppliers and customers location
• Operating a variety of equipment including yard trucks daycab tractors and 26 box trucks
• Adhering to safety regulations and company policies
• Conducting pretrip and posttrip inspections of vehicles
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of assigned equipment

Requirements:

• Must reside within a 75mile radius of Vance AL
• Minimum of 1 year verifiable tractortrailer experience in the past 3 years
• Valid Class A CDL
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Clean driving record with no SAP or DUI violations
• No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years
• Must wear black steel toe shoes (can be purchased using uniform allowance)

• Night shift position requiring flexibility to work up to 12 hours per shift
• Off every Saturday with an additional day off during the week based on the dynamic schedule
