CivilTransportation Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Serve as lead engineer and manage multiple project team
  
• Execute required aspects of roadway engineering based on a deep understanding of engineering fundamentals and advanced concepts
  
• Lead the management/execution of multidisciplinary transportation planning and design projects and tasks
  
• Provide project direction/guidance ensure projects are delivered on schedule within budget and meets the client s needs
  
• Supervise coordinate and review work of project teams
  
• Create and ensure QA/QC standards are met
  
• Responsible for project progress/status reports scope schedule and budget
  
• Track progress of deliverables client reviews technical input and comment resolution
  
• Manager workload/deliverables for multiple projects
  
• Compile scope/fee for projects
  
• Conduct meetings and prepare progress reports
  
• Assist with business development efforts
  

Requirements:

• BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  
• 8 years of transportation design experience
  
• Design experience with Illinois Department of Transportation preferred
  
• PE License in IL is mandatory with the ability to submit for reciprocity
  
• Strong CAD/Design Software (MicroStation SS10 GeoPak ORD) experience
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  

Salary is commensurate with experience.
