Civil Supervisor

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate construction activities on site
• Ensure compliance with building codes regulations and safety standards
• Provide technical guidance and solutions to onsite challenges
• Manage and monitor the quality of workmanship and materials
• Create and implement work schedules and shifts
• Conduct regular site inspections and address any issues or deviations
• Oversee the procurement and delivery of construction materials
• Collaborate with project managers engineers and architects
• Review and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
• Manage and maintain accurate documentation and project records
• Resolve conflicts or disputes that may arise on the construction site
• Train and mentor construction staff on safety and procedures
• Participate in project planning and progress meetings
• Implement and enforce workplace health and safety regulations
• Report on project progress issues and risks to management

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor or similar role
• Strong knowledge of construction processes materials and methods
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
• Sound understanding of health and safety regulations
• Effective communication and conflict resolution abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with construction management software and tools
• Quality control and assurance experience
• Detailoriented with a focus on precision and accuracy
• Problemsolving and decisionmaking capabilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Physical fitness and willingness to work in outdoor environments
• Certification in construction supervision is a plus
