Civil Engineering Manager

Multidisciplinary team is looking for a Civil Engineering Manager for their growing St. Petersburg team!

Responsibilities:

• Lead/develop a team of civil engineers/designers (510 engineers)
  
• Manage design projects/civil engineering delivery
  
• Mentor/train staff manage resource allocation/utilization and review/approve staff time sheets/expenses
  
• Manage project delivery
  
• Build/maintain relationships with clients external consultants and internal engineering managers/directors
  
• Prepare contract proposals/project budgets
  
• Direct/coordinate land development/environmental resource permitting
  
• Use technical expertise to find solutions to complex engineering/personnel situations
  
• Monitor project progress and compile project status reports
  
• Manage project invoicing/accounts receivable
  
• Maintain a strong understanding of regional regulatory agencies/permit requirements
  
• Coordinate projects within a multidisciplinary team with minimal oversight
  
• Lead/manage multiple projects concurrently
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering
  
• 8 years of civil/site development design experience
  
• 3 years of engineering staff management experience
  
• PE License
  
• Experience with civil engineering calculations ((stormwater potable water hydraulics sewer and storm hydraulics hydrology)
  
• Analysis software experience (ICPR BMP Trains HECRAS WaterCAD AutoCAD Civil 3D)
  
• Knowledge of SWFWMD County and FDOT permitting processes/requirements
