Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertaking technical and feasibility studies including site investigations
• Developing detailed designs
• Assessing the potential risks of specific projects
• Overseeing and managing construction projects
• Monitoring and inspecting work undertaken by contractors
• Liaising with clients and a variety of professionals including architects and subcontractors
• Compiling job specs and supervising tendering procedures
• Resolving design and development problems
• Managing budgets and project resources
• Scheduling material and equipment purchases and deliveries
• Ensuring construction and site safety
• Using computeraided design (CAD) software
• Working to ensure buildings meet environmental and health regulations
• Advising clients on obtaining the necessary permissions and consents
• Monitoring progress and compiling reports in project status

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Familiarity with construction and project management processes
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Indepth understanding of industry regulations and standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Attention to detail and precision in work
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Understanding of sustainable design principles
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and practices
