Civil/Coastal Engineer/Project Manager

A growing and innovative engineering firm is looking to add a Civil/Coastal Engineer/Project Manager to their team!

• Lead production team
  
• Use technical expertise to resolve complex technical problems
  
• Mentor/train junior staff
  
• Manage client communication
  
• Coordinate resource scheduling (workload/deadlines)
  
• Lead quality assurance initiatives
  
• Develop proposals/contracts with an adequate scope for the project, provides the desired level of profitability, and ensures the project schedule is viable
  
• Build/maintain client relationships
  
• Identify/analyze strategies for key management issues
  

Requirements:

• B.S. degree in Civil, Coastal, Ocean, Structural/Geotechnical Engineering
  
• 5+ years of relevant work experience
  
• Previous experience with waterfront structure and marine infrastructure project (focus areas such as harbors, marinas, vessel mooring/berthing structures, bulkheads/seawalls, breakwaters/shore protection structures, shoreline stabilization and sediment management)
  
• PE License preferred
  
• Academy of Coastal, Ocean, Port & Navigation Engineer (ACOPNE) certification in the Port Engineering category
  
• Project Management experience
  
• Knowledge of coastal processes/coastal design
  
• Experience with AutoCAD or Civil3D, coastal processes modeling and hydraulic software
  
• Construction oversight experience preferred
