At The Wise Seeker we are actively seeking candidates to join a leading company in pediatric palliative care at Noahs Ark Childrens Hospice. Our expert staff and trained volunteers provide clinical emotional and practical support for families across North and Central London and Herts Valley. We are dedicated to improving the lives of seriously unwell children and their families providing specialized care and nursing services in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Location:North London nature reserve Barnet

Functions

    As a Childrens Hospice Nurse (Band 5) at The Ark you will be part of the Specialist Care Team responsible for providing care to seriously unwell babies children and young people. Your duties will include:

    • Caring for children staying at The Ark and those visiting for day care
    • Providing support to children in their family homes and community settings
    • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet the full clinical emotional social and practical needs of patients and families
    • Utilizing excellent clinical and communication skills to deliver highquality care
    • Participating in the growth and success of Noahs Ark Childrens Hospice

    Requirements

    The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

    • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse at Band 5 level
    • UK Driving license and own vehicle required for commuting to site and occasional oncall visits to family homes
    • Excellent clinical and communication skills
    • Creative and compassionate approach to pediatric palliative care
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
    • Commitment to making a positive difference to seriously unwell children and their families
