Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
• Conduct experiments and demonstrations to teach principles of chemistry
• Assess and grade students assignments laboratory work and examinations
• Provide constructive feedback to students and parents on progress
• Utilize effective teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles
• Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and share best practices
• Supervise students during laboratory experiments and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Participate in parentteacher meetings and communicate effectively with parents

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Chemistry or related field
• Teaching certification or license
• Prior experience teaching Chemistry at the middle or high school level
• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum development and educational technology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline
• Passion for teaching and inspiring students interest in Chemistry
• Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment
• Proficiency in using educational software and learning management systems
• Understanding of different assessment methods and their applications
