What theyre looking for:
Must be licensed by the Chemical Dependency Professionals Board.
Must have a LSW or a LPC.
Also be currently licensed by the Chemical Dependency Professionals Board as a CDCA LCDC II III or LICDC. Higher than a CDCA strongly preferred.
Hours and compensation potential:
The position is fulltime day shift. May occasionally conduct an evening group as the back up if a staff member is on vacation.
The range is between for $46K$63K depending on experience.
Full benefits package offered as well.
What youll be doing:
Provides therapeutic counseling to chemically dependent people using a biopsychosocial approach.
Educates patients and families regarding the disease process for chemical dependency.
Leads group discussions Works 1:1 with patients on chemical dependency issues and assigns group activities for Mental Health Technicians.
Assess the patient needs and recommends appropriate groups.
Completes billing charges/sheets daily
Utilizes historic and current data in assessing patient needs.
Utilizes effecting interviewing skills and supportive counseling skills.
Provides individual and group crisis intervention and family clinical interventions with chemical dependency clients.
Acts as client advocate mediator and facilitator.
