Adelphi is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide medical services at public schools in Lea County New Mexico.

Requirements:
Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy
Be an enrolled Medicaid provider
New Mexico license
Responsibilities:
In collaboration with the assigned OT:
Conduct evaluations to determine if children have occupational therapy needs and ascertain appropriate services.
Participate in Individualized Education Plan (I.E.P.) meetings for potential and current cases.
Create written implementation plans for I.E.P. goals in collaboration with other professionals.
Provide consultation to teachers parents and other relevant individuals regarding assigned cases.
Regularly assess and report on the progress of students in the caseload.
Maintain and update instructional materials in collaboration with special education teachers.
Any other duties as assigned.
