We operate with a network of over 150 therapists throughout Michigan. In Dearborn were thrilled to invite an exceptional Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in a subacute care facility. Our mission of this program is to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients through compassionate and effective rehabilitation services.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Occupational Therapist to address the needs of the geriatric population
- Implement and monitor therapy programs to improve functional abilities in both returntohome and longterm care settings
- Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies
- Demonstrate a genuine passion for working with older adults
- Familiarity with NetHealth software is a plus
Requirements
Michigan Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License
2 year degree
