Position: CEO Freight Brokerage

Job Description: We are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to join our company as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CEO will be responsible for setting the strategic direction driving growth and ensuring operational excellence across our global freight and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in the logistics sector with a deep understanding of global market trends regulatory environments and technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Develop and implement a strategic plan to advance the companys mission and objectives promoting revenue profitability and growth.
• Oversee company operations to ensure efficiency quality service and costeffective management of resources

Operational Excellence:

• Lead the optimization of endtoend supply chain processes to enhance efficiency reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with national and international regulations and standards in freight and logistics operations.

Business Development:

• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in emerging markets and forge strategic partnerships and relationships with key stakeholders.
• Drive sales marketing and customer service strategies to boost customer acquisition and retention.

Financial Stewardship:

• Oversee the companys fiscal activities including budgeting reporting and auditing.
• Ensure the availability of financial resources to meet present and future business needs.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead motivate and develop a highperformance executive team.
• Foster a successoriented accountable environment within the company.

Stakeholder Relations:

• Serve as the primary spokesperson and representative for the company conveying the vision and strategic direction to shareholders partners customers and the public.
• Maintain and nurture relationships with government regulatory bodies and other relevant organizations.

Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years of executive leadership experience as a CEO or in a GM capacity in the freight and logistics sector.
• Extensive experience leading a fastpaced brokerage and freight operations account management/sales or customer experience organizations with demonstrated results in driving enhanced productivity and improved operational metrics
• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain/Logistics or a related field is ideal.
• Strong P&L management experience(Gross Margin Revenue ROI OE).
• Experience with modern brokerage practices
• Entrepreneurial and sales mindset with experience building leading driving and managing growth within a freight brokerage organization
• Ability to close and manage large accounts and drive organic growth of existing accounts.
• Proven track record in building scalable repeatable processes and a disciplined data driven culture.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Experience with multiple Brokerspecific TMS systems is an asset
• Knowledge of leading Broker Boards (Truckstop DAT etc.).
• Strong organization skills abilities to juggle managing changing priorities in a fastpaced environment is required
• A preexisting book of customers is an asset
• Relationships with highquality carriers is a plus
