CDL A Truck Driver

Looking for CDL A Driver with a minimum of 3 years of experience in transporting heavy loads and large items on flatbed trailers. The ideal candidate must possess a strong understanding of securing loads safely, utilizing straps, chains, and tie-downs, and adhering to weight and height limits. Previous experience with knuckle booms with truck stabilizers, crane trucks, and forklifts is a prerequisite. The Driver will be responsible for transporting equipment according to schedule requirements and will be home daily. A clean driving record is mandatory for this position.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Safely transport heavy loads and large items on flatbed trailers.
• Secure loads using appropriate equipment such as straps, chains, and tie-downs.
• Adhere to weight and height limits during transportation.
• Operate knuckle booms with truck stabilizers, crane trucks, and forklifts as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and ensure routine maintenance checks are conducted.
• Comply with all traffic regulations and safety standards.
• Meet delivery schedules and ensure timely and accurate delivery of equipment.

Requirements:

• Possession of a valid CDL A driver’s license with a manual transmission endorsement.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in transporting heavy loads and large items on flatbed trailers.
• Strong knowledge of securing loads safely and adhering to weight and height limits.
• Previous experience with knuckle booms with truck stabilizers, crane trucks, and forklifts.
• Clean driving record with no major infractions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
