Capital Markets Compliance Associate

Our client a market leader in wealth management and capital markets in Ireland is looking to hire a Capital Markets Compliance Associate to join their compliance team. The successful candidate will have 2 years experience working in a Financial Services industry.

The Role:

• Monitor and analyse trade surveillance alerts as well as undertaking the surveillance of electronic communications and telephone communications
  
• Assist management with designated compliance projects and assignments and act as coordinator where require
  
• Compliance with relevant compliance and risk frameworks
  
• Monitoring compliance with the firm s MiFID II and MiFIR obligations for example Best Execution Transaction Reporting and Trade Reporting
  
• Support the firm with its obligations under the Market Abuse Regulation such as insider lists market soundings and investment recommendations
  

Requirements

• Relevant 3rd level Degree (Business Finance Law or equivalent) and /or audit/legal/compliance qualification
  
• 2 years working in a financial services industry is a benefit with a good working knowledge of the regulatory requirements applicable to capital markets and/or corporate finance
  
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  
• Selforganised with the ability to deal with multiple stakeholders on different projects simultaneously.
  
• Interested in further developing a specialist compliance expertise
