Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree in English Education or related field.
2. Teaching certification or qualification in English language teaching (e.g. CELTA TESOL TEFL).
3. Experience teaching English language and literature to elementary school students.
4. Familiarity with the Cambridge International curriculum and assessment framework preferred.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
7. Passion for teaching and promoting language development and literacy skills.
8. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
9. Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance instruction and assessment.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver highquality instruction in English language and literature following the Cambridge International curriculum for grade 3 and 4 students.
2. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote language acquisition literacy skills and critical thinking.
3. Use a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
4. Assess student progress using a range of formative and summative assessments aligned with Cambridge International standards.
5. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their learning and growth.
6. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated to learn and participate.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and instructional practices across grade levels.
8. Stay informed about current trends and best practices in English language teaching and integrate them into classroom instruction.
9. Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge of Cambridge International curriculum.
10. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress assessments and academic goals.
