Your Role

We are hiring a motivated and experienced Calibration Technician. This role is responsible for performing calibration and testing activities on a wide range of equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications. Candidates should demonstrate proven success in troubleshooting repair and maintenance for a variety of instruments and devices.

  • Perform handson calibration of a wide range of equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Ensure all calibration standards are properly calibrated and certified.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed calibration records and maintenance documentation.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve calibrationrelated issues in collaboration with maintenance and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and prioritize calibration needs.
  • Coordinate calibration schedules ensuring timely execution and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of calibration procedures and protocols.
  • Additional responsibilities as required.


Requirements

  • Relevant certification degree or diploma in technical field.
  • 35 years of proven calibration experience in the life science industry.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and calibration standards.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills. Strong technical aptitude and mechanically inclined.
  • Proficient in using calibration software and equipment.
  • Detailoriented with excellent documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • At PSC Biotech many of our projects and clients are located in various regions around the country. Therefore we value candidates who are willing and able to travel as needed for project assignments and client engagements. The ability to adapt to different locations cultures and work environments is essential as it allows our team members to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues nationally.
