Job Description:
We are seeking a talented CakePHP Developer to join our remote team at Company Name. As a CakePHP Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using CakePHP framework. You will work closely with our development team to deliver highquality solutions that meet our clients needs.
Responsibilities:
Develop test and maintain web applications using CakePHP framework.
Write clean efficient and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic.
Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions on time.
Troubleshoot and debug issues ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime.
Keep abreast of the latest technologies and industry trends in web development.
Participate in code reviews providing constructive feedback to team members.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders providing updates on project progress.
Adhere to project deadlines and priorities managing workload effectively in a remote environment.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
23 years of experience in CakePHP development with a strong understanding of PHP and web development principles.
Proficiency in PHP MySQL JavaScript HTML and CSS.
Familiarity with MVC architecture and objectoriented programming concepts.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Experience working remotely and collaborating with remote teams (preferred).
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of other PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
Certification in CakePHP or related technologies is a plus.
