Job Responsibilities:

• Making drawings/layout for detailed design approval for Welding fixtures & Assembly Robots Special purpose Automation machines Material handling pick/place and assembly systems Robotics Gripping systems and overall robotic cells Material feeding mechanisms Conveyors
  
• Provide technical support to customers during all phases of design & development including product validation start of production (SOP) and postSOP.
  
• Communicate all engineering and development issues as needed to internal functions Program Management Sales Manufacturing Quality Warranty and Engineering Management.
  
• Prepare and conduct technical presentations (Customer internal).
  
• Drafting the required design specifications as per the standard available process. Quality check of the prepared drawings.
  
• Assist and lead root cause analysis of technical issues in CAD & drafting service requests.
  

Requirements

• Educational Qualifications Diploma/B.E. Mechanical
  
• 3 6 years of work experience
  
• Nature of experience OEM Auto / Auto Ancillary (tier 1) preferred.
  
• CAD: AutoCAD (Primary) Solid Edge (secondary) SolidWorks (tertiary).
  
• Competencies Detail Drawing GD &T Solid Assembly modeling
  
• Knowledge of Factory Automation / Plant Layout Design / Robotics
  
• Thorough understanding of GD&T stackups
  
• Working knowledge of at least one PLM (team Center SAP)
  
• Understanding of materials and heat treatment process is required.
  
• Working knowledge of sheet metal Casting Forging Stamping & Welding processes is essential.
  
• MSoffice (Word Excel PowerPoint)
