Due to recent project acquisition, this company is demanding experienced engineers as part of ongoing team A result of a broadened client portfolio and manufacturing
Responsibilities, but are not limited to
- Ownership of large assembly 3D modelling projects including 2D drawing analysis and production as well as expected data
- Design engineering alongside existing team to produce bespoke designs for clients
- Use of SolidWorks, AutoCAD and export to laser cutting machines for sheet metal, pipe work and steel detailing projects
- Perform calculations for materials and weight limitations with communication to project leaders
- Ensure final designs are compliant with necessary regulations and expectation to modify and revaluate as part of a quality management system
Experiences required
- Relevant SolidWorks experience in Large Assembly Design and Drafting with focus on pipework and sheet
- Understanding and strong manufacturing knowledge for design engineering projects
- BEng/BSc Engineering or equivalent further education accepted
- Attention to details and willingness to take on responsibility working independently or collaborating with
- Verbal and Written communication proficiency
